Yea. I've seen the full pic of this before. And while it does make the LCD look bad, I've seen other pics where the LCD looks just as good the OLED but with more accurate colors. So really, while I THINK I will favor the LCD, all we can do is wait til we can try them and compare in person.

I also think LCD is much better than OLED. Warmer, more acurate colors. OLED is catchy for the eye with it's oversaturated colors. That's it.

Maybe when the whole screen is displaying a really dark image, but OLEDs really suck at bright colors and when there are both bright and dark colors on screen at the same time.

Yea. I LOVE those black blotches in every dark scene of a game. It's a beautiful thing. It's not like it was noticeable in just about every scene of TWD game or anything.

I'm guessing the mass likes over saturated screens. It pops out more, and it does look amazing game-wise if you can accept the black blotches. If we aren't considering "photo realism", digital games look great with over saturated colors.

That being said, the LCD is not as saturated but it's got own merits...It's more

But that was just a photo and didn't move. Now, there's a video. It moves.

The whites do look cooler on top but overall the actual colors are more accurate on the top.

Well, let's assume this is true, it does not change the fact that the major hindrance to game development now is financial, not technical. Companies cannot afford to keep pushing out these ridiculously bloated titles, and taking full advantage of either console's graphical capabilities might be impossible financially,

I hate that many always consider OLED as superior in every way compared to just standard LCD. It sure has an edge in terms of contrast but color reproduction, gamut and brightness is msotly inferior and then i aint even talking about burn-in issues. There are crappy LCD panels as well ofcourse. But i take a high

One shot that's not even entirely 1:1 on the same plane isn't exactly concrete evidence. There are a handful of other comparison cellphone shots that don't look as drastic.

The shame there is that the cost reasoning is perfectly valid, but there's no way forumgoers would take it without whining. "Hey, it's this or discontinuing this otherwise really cool device, what would you do?"

To be fair, OLEDs can be too saturated for my tastes at times. I won't be able to judge without looking at one in real life.

Yeah, I got a Nyko Power Grip recently and it is a godsend! The double battery life is very nice too.

the difference is from the type of illumination from the screen the what being perceived as yellowing is actually a worse black contrast compared to the OLED this also doesn't take in account a proper tuning of the screen which could improve things drastically

So maybe it was the Ragnarok Odyssey pic that was inaccurate and this one was more accurate?? Yeah I guess we'll just have to wait and see, like you said.

3g vitas are only usable for updating trophies and such, not multiplayer or streaming data. This (remote play) will require a wifi connection, but you can do it from anywhere. You can do it now for psone games and some arcade games.

WiFi is actually pretty common. I was able to start up a Killzone Mercenary match at a local restaurant. Better yet, just tether to your phone's connection or ad hoc with a sat laptop.

It's a luxury item, if you can't afford the data connection then don't get the SIM card version.. Pretty simple.
I understand not everyone has WiFi available, but where I live there is WiFi all over the place with good speeds. Obviously you should research before buying anything to see if it can fulfill its full
