When these “what a SAHM should earn” comparisons first started, the calculations included full-time salaries for every item. For example, it would say she would deserve $30,000 for being a full-time maid, $40,000 for being a full-time teacher, $20,000 for being a full-time chauffer, $30,000 for being a full-time cook,…

Capitalizing words at random doesn’t make you appear intelligent. Many people stay home because their income is otherwise negated by the cost of childcare. Good try though!
