I know someone who teaches the 5th grade and is always making posts with grammatical errors, such as confusing then/than, to/too, their/they’re/there, are/our, etc. I’d be pretty appalled if my child’s teacher was doing that, but I agree - if it’s someone teaching drama, music, art, dance or sports, it’s fine.
