As a basic question it’s definitely outlived its usefulness. However, when searching for a more nuanced answer I think it hyper valid. People have a right to know. More information and understanding makes the topic less stigmatized even though the risk is evident.

I read a study in which sexual assault survivors said rape is most akin to theft of property in terms of criminality. Your comment reminds me of that with the element of shared responsibility. Like within the household, the property or sex is meant to me shared, but any other option is an aberration and illegal.

I agree. It’s awful but for me I think the gruesome discussion is worth having. I feel immensely better about the topic.

Why shouldn’t survivors of sexual assault get a platform to discuss this? I think it’s silencing to suggest that the topic be shelved because it’s difficult. The body count question is harrowing and awful and people deserve a safe place to discuss it.

If you say no then I say no. Also, I personally just say no. I think rapist will do anything, use any trick to rape someone. Sometimes the ploy they use is starting something consensual and given how many tales of anal rape I’ve read I definitely see a trend and am following it to its most logical conclusion.

Yes, I count my rapist as a 0.5. I feel that amount to be adequate. I’m going for the bare minimum.

It was a bit more than boys b boys tho. :( It was sex crimes are a part and parcel of the armed service. Like a direct quote. We also talked about how it delegitimizes their cough peacekeeping mission as such.
