He vaporized me even before I got to do anything cool in Secret Wars, but I still have mad respect for this cat. Plus, he refers to himself in the third person. Kang respects that.

Architecture and Morality is Kang's jam. Yes it is.

Pass the Eurythmics and go directly to OMD. From there, turn left at Wall of Voodoo.

Yeah, I love this show for the most part, but the Steenburgen stuff didn't really work and, even as a single guy in his late 30's with zero kids, I'm wondering WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN?? Michelle and Brett's problems start to look like mere whining when the demands of parenting become abstractions.

'Nights of Cabiria' is in my top 5 of all time, and yet I turned this off about 30 minutes in. Thank you for the validation.

You could to the reverse of what I did: I was so enjoying the well-wrought comfort of this 1100 page book, and was so upset at finally reaching the end, that I immediately picked up Infinite Jest so I could recapture the pleasure of reading something really, really good and really, really long.

I gotta give it to 'Anatomy of a Murder'— I was stunned, STUNNED at how morally ambiguous and non-judgmental that movie was. I didn't give Jimmy Stewart enough credit going in, I think. By the time it gets to the trial, I was completely hypnotized.

Really enjoying this show. I guess some people might feel it's generational pandering (GIRLS for people in their late 30's) but the difference to me is that all the characters are genuinely trying to connect and rehabilitate/reform themselves and their relationships. I'm rooting for them even as I'm wincing or

Mark Duplass' demented 'fake smile' in this episode single-handedly earned him new respect as an actor in Kang's eyes.

'Yeah, if you get rid of the likable characters, funny dialogue, and coherent action, it's really just a Michael Bay movie.'

The Adam West/Conan pilot was Lookwell, and last time I checked you could watch the whole think on Youtube. It's hilarious, but you really need Adam West for it to work. And he's getting up there.

Well for one thing, it helps if you're NOT January Jones.

Gentlemen Broncos is a weird one… It's not a 'good' movie, but it is one-of-a-kind, and features a lot of stuff that simply has to be seen and included on the 'Greatest Hits' reels of both Jermaine Clement and Sam Rockwell, who are outstanding.

Billy Zane should move to Phase 2 of his career plan: Stop making movies for twenty years. Only after that may Phas 3 commence: Startling 're-discovery' by Quentin Tarantino.

You forgot:

Loving this show. Maybe it's my age, but watching this show about people with recognizably human flaws and watching the detailed, well-acted, and well-observed story of them struggling to be good to one another just reaffirms how unjustifiable it is that I continue to indulge GIRLS.

Tina is older than Michelle. But yeah, it's somewhat disturbing that I thought about this show as being as being about 'adults' somewhat older than me…and then realizing I'm 38. When I realized that Alex graduated high school a year AFTER me? Yikes.

A Simpsons reference— ('Sex Cauldron'!) —and I whiffed it.

Why would they shut me down? I hated Sonia Soraiya's 'Leftovers' reviews, but I wasn't ever a racist/misogynist about it. The Kang handle just made me laugh for a bunch of esoteric reasons so I switched.

Wow.
