Not really. The next episode Finn keeps asking Cragen about his transfer request and keeps getting the “I’ll get to it” answer. Meanwhile Finn spends most of the episode passive aggressive towards Stabler, despite the latter being completely oblivious to it. That plotline just disappears.

The SVU episode did play a little revisionist history with Finn. Finn did not like Stabler in those later years for all the reasons that one probably wouldn’t. In this episode he’s completely vouching for him which I though was kind of funny.

“Close to Naruto or My Hero levels”? It’s blown past them. It’s at One Piece levels of cultural relevance there. Maybe even more so at this point. My Hero, while popular in Japan, there are plenty of series that have way presence than it does anyway.
