But when BLM first got going it was criticized with the same points by people like Obama. It wasn’t looked as inherently good, but exclusionary to other races.

Defund the police hurts people feelings and makes them uncomfortable. So of course we can’t use that. So let’s keep watching these things happen until we can come up with a phrase that makes them feel safe.

I think we found a better slogan than “Defund the Police”.
