Anime has come a long way. I was born in 93 so it’s not surprising people like Micheal B.Jordan like anime because we grew up with readily available on TV. Now we got services like Netflix throwing some money behind and it is certainly a different time.

Why is it so dark? The best thing about early Bleach was how colorful it was. It’s the same problem I had with the Jojo movie. This looks so ugly when this part of the story was so vibrant.

While I liked the movie, I thought it could have been better than what it was. Given the fervor for the movie, I was kind of expecting more. Mostly because the movie devoled into typical Marvel shit that looks like a PS3 game. Even the politcal commentary wasn’t enough, it was just dipping it’s toes into it, but not…

Vegeta is the only character I’m invested in now. It’s not killing himself to kill Buu, but still pretty decent.

Hunter x Hunter is really good about that. The show really doesn’t focus on power levels and more on the ability of characters. So the series is not about the escalation of an antagonist.

Not anymore. The show quickly took away any fault Goku would have had for the tournament. The universes that are fighting would have been destroyed anyway and if anything the tournament gave the ones that were a fighting chance.

Pretty much. Most of those were Nick and Catoonetwork shows, so if you didn’t have cable growing up it’s not surprising you aren’t familiar.
