For you, apparently, yes. Yes it is.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I could have sworn Kotaku's editorial stance was "never preorder." Does that not carry over to "Deals?"

And also there are as many posts that say they cleared this puzzle in minutes. Because those people probably noticed, understood, and internalized the mechanics at play. Should those people have to experience a dumbed down puzzle because you didn’t put the pieces together fast enough?

“Notice THIS specific twig, and not all of the other mislead twigs” seems just as obtuse as “Don’t type ‘continue through woods’, type ‘go north through woods’.”

This is one of those things that seems entirely understandable and completely ridiculous at the same time.

I don't even like this game, and I know that yours is a ridiculous and unfair assessment of the game.

Good for you. I got stuck on one puzzle for nearly 3 hours, then solved it by accident, therefore I didn’t even learn whatever it was I was supposed to learn from it, and so I got immediately stuck on the very next puzzle.

By the time I even realized there was a questline with him I'd already found all the holotapes and finished the quest.

Do you know if they're going to have integrated Steam Workshop support when the GECK releases? It's odd to me that they have it for Skyrim and not FO4.

So the one reward you get in this game for solving puzzles (the knowledge necessary to solve more puzzles) I didn’t get, and so I got stuck

That's some lame trolling. You should try using your brain next time. That's what we did in my day.

Is this some sort of code? Was that supposed to be a sentence? Is this word mush what happens when you stop using your brain?

So why did you stop?

These are neat, but probably not enough to get me back into the game.

Okay, that second video made me laugh.

I'm not, obviously.

You're right. It's much more likely the developers will give up on it after several years and it will just fade away.

Looks terrible

I look forward to not playing this when the developers quit halfway through and move on to other projects.

Yes and no. For a certain type of person a challenge is a challenge, and knowing that there is one challenge that you can’t get past is a very frustrating and annoying feeling even if there’s nothing gated behind that challenge. I don’t want to beat these puzzles to advance the game. I want to beat them because they
