The thing is, a game or a book or a movie can’t fix anything. The best it can do is hold up a mirror that lets you see what’s wrong in the first place, but the actual fixing....that shit is work, man. Long, exhausting, grueling work.

The real problem there is that the term “game” has always been an inadequate shorthand for a medium that is actually capable of being many more things than that one limited noun can encompass.

I tried to play Gravity Bone and Thirty Flights of Loving a few years back, but both of them consistently crashed on my PC, and I was never able to get them working.
