It’s a PVE game, and there are mechanics put in place specifically to prevent this behavior. These players are just using an exploit to circumvent the rules of the game specifically to ruin other people’s enjoyment.

There’s no guarantee of that. Even if it does, it takes about a century for a corporate work to enter the public domain, and that’s assuming the rights holder doesn’t fight it.

I mean, I’ve spent enough time with Fallout 4, Skyrim and Borderlands in VR to tell you that’s more than you want to do in VR with the current hardware.

Not one of them cites Sands of Time, the game you actually called out.  They all also cite Uncharted/Tomb Raider.

I’ve also just been informed by another commenter that Valve is giving this game away to people who buy the Index or the Index controllers.  

Fortunately, like most game platforms, VR setups can play more than one game.
