Yep. That’s just what every couple who experience a miscarriage want to hear... You should have waited to announce your pregnancy. I haven’t watched either of the two videos and could care less about how they decided to announce their pregnancy. But how about we just let them mourn their loss without telling them the

Then you likely should have used “This is why *I* would wait”. You can have whatever opinion you want and I can respond, that is how the comments section works.

Why does this need to be private? I wish that I had known that it was so common when I miscarried, saying that we should wait or that it’s private or shouldn’t be talked about it why so many people end up blindsided when it happens.

I don’t think it’s on you to decide how a person grieves or how long people should wait before they’re allowed to celebrate something exciting.

Please do not be that person who says something to the effect of “Well, they shouldn’t have talked about it so early...” or “that’s what you get for putting everything online,” blahblahblah. Just be better. Try to be sympathetic and let them mourn.

It’s not a very good (or PC) analogy, but I guess sometimes you need to use loaded language to get people’s attention?

Uhhhh I wasn’t aware there were any slaves making shit loads of money tho...

Things not to hyperbolically say other things are “like”: slavery, the Holocaust, rape, being at war.

Declaring waist trainers as empowering because they make individual female business owners money is silly. Like, would we entertain the notion that a former stay at home mom who now makes big money selling I dunno, graphic tees and signs for anti-abortion protesters is “empowering for women?” I hope we wouldn’t.

Yeeeeah, I’m going to need something a little more substantial than “It’s women’s empowerment because it benefits meeee!” before I start thinking it’s anything more than the same tired bullshit. Things that range from terrible to useless benefit the people selling them all the time - that’s capitalism. It doesn’t make

There are just so many things wrong with your argument. There are absolutely false accusations (Ask brian banks).

Welp, I guess if we follow this logic, anyone that’s accused of rape = automatically guilty!

Maybe don’t call a place populated mostly by poor minorities and which has been reeling from the decimation of the manufacturing business and white flight ‘the butthole of America’. I take it that you drove through in your Landrover and decided the view wasn’t to your liking and you hustled home to Greenwich, CT.

I think bootlegging is super uncool.

lol fuck off with this. there’s nothing wrong with having a nanny. there are shitty parents with nannies and shitty parents without nannies. this is malarkey.

Yeah, screw all those people who have jobs! What?

Kids are terrible. That’s awful advice.

Believe it or not - you can bond with your kid without being present during the entirety of every day. A nanny was referenced as an alternative to day care not a supplement. I agree - both are expensive.

I’ll just point out here that there are plenty of reasons people (read: mainly women) choose to go to work regardless of whether or not their income significantly outpaces the cost of child- and home-care. They have brains, lives, goals, lifetime earning capacity that will not be interrupted by taking significant time

I think the free time to go play some golf or video games at random times throughout the day outweighs those perceived cons.
