Word of mouth is how I come about my tailors. The one I've used the last few years my mom found. It's sort of out of the way and they hardly speak any English and their shop looks sorta sketchy, but damn they're good and cheap. It's a husband/wife duo and the wife totally restructured and sewed my bridesmaid dress to

I worked in a Very Fancy Boutique store about 12 years ago and we used to keep a list of which dresses were being worn to which local school’s proms but for the life of me, I can’t remember what we would do if someone chose a dress that was already being worn. I was just a cashier at the time, so I think the sales

Proud McQueen here! Our tartan is fairly common, so we stock up when we see it in stores. I even have a pair of Ralph Lauren Polo socks in McQueen tartan! Also, Alexander McQueen frequently uses the tartan in his/their designs.

DO IT. I hosted wine night at my place a while back for my friends and when they saw me in my fuchsia caftan they were like "really kalliope84? Of course you would wear that." It's the perfect hostess outfit. I think I'm going to wear it to a Mad Men party this weekend.

I mean, caftans aren't the most flattering in that it's literally a rectangular piece of fabric with a hold for your head. I haven't actually worn mine outside of the house, so I'm just using it a loungewear at the moment. But I do know that Christina Hendricks had a caftans and casserole birthday party last year!

I literally found it by googling "Liz Taylor Caftan" because when I went to Mexico last year, I decided that would be my style inspiration. There's a couple more pictures of her in caftans if you search!

Thanks! She's the reason I drunk-purchased two caftans off HSN a while back. The designer said he was inspired by Liz and my 4 glasses of red wine said "HELL YES NEED NOW."

Caftan Liz Taylor is my favorite and also my spirit animal (p.s. This picture is also my avatar because I love it so much).

I LOVED Below Deck. I hope some of the old cast comes back, especially Eddie since I have a big ol' crush on him.

Me too! Give me all the pastels and brights and florals. I live in San Antonio, so this is all totally appropriate especially with Fiesta coming up. Also, I carry a Lilly alligator patterned koozie in my purse all the time because I'm a Classy Bitch.

The key to Dipbrow is to blend it with a spoolie brush after applying with an angled brush. The spoolie softens the harsh lines and makes it look soooo much more natural. It can also fix mistakes too, because sometimes I'll screw up and end up with a big blob and the spoolie will scratch it right off. Anyway, I lurve

I bought about 10 wheels of nail rhinestones and a couple of nail polish dotters on eBay for less than $10. It may have been less than $5, I can't remember. Anyway, I have about a lifetime's worth of tiny rhinestones in lots of different shapes and colors! eBay is a great place to get cheap nail art supplies if you

I LOVE the Sally Hansen nail strips. They can legit last like 10 days and they come in all sorts of colors and patterns, including French. I tried Jamberry about a month ago, but there's definitely a learning curve involved. I wrote about it here. Personally, I didn't like them as much and they didn't stay on AT ALL

What's a Sephora company secret that would be surprising for the average Jane to know?

I bought MatchMaster liquid foundation and a Mineralize SkinFinish Natural powder last year on a recommendation of a MAC MUA and good lord it is an amazing combination. It's medium to full coverage foundation but it doesn't look heavy or cakey and the powder is so finely milled and luminous. LOVE IT.

SO MANY Tinder profiles I come across say KCCO. I had to Google it because I didn't know what it meant. I mean, I like a lot of websites too, but not enough to declare it on a dating profile. Or anywhere else.

That was the best match I ever got and I'm a woman. I would much rather go on a date with Mindy and talk about makeup and shoes and gossip than any of the randos I've met through online dating.

I love Revlon's lipstick! The creme formula is straight up as good and maybe better than my Urban Decay, Nars and Chanel lipsticks. And I love how a lot of their current permanent line are from back in the day, like Fire & Ice and Cherries In The Snow.

As part of the same collection, there was another lipstick called Jungle Peach (lolwhut) that was more of a peachy nude that was circa 1963. But yeah, peach seems to be used liberally as a descriptor haha.

I have Snow Peach! Revlon re-released it and four other retired lipsticks as a limited edition collection last year. It's a bright peachy-melon-pink.
