Meanwhile, my ISP here in Sweden is rolling out Gigabit for consumers. Right now I pay $80/mo for 100/100 Mbit (approx half that for 100d/10u Mbit)

Or you can just get a freakin' android phone instead of buying a secondary device that's actually larger than the iPhone was to begin with. The difference isn't that big unless you're some hardcore fanboy or gamer.

@allstar3970001: No, I don't. I think the most effective security is pro-active, such as when they uncovered the liquid bomb plot. The biggest thing 9/11 changed was public attitude. The new public mindset is what stopped the shoe bomber and underpants bomber, not TSA screening.
