It really surprises me that eating out is the norm. I've always cooked a majority of my meals at home. Not really due to cost (although where I live, eating out is always like 3-5x more expensive than cooking in, you can't get a meal out for less than like $10), but mostly because, well, I'm lazy. Going out is effort.

@Odin: Lemsip is godly, whenever I visit the UK I make sure to stock up on it.

@Se7en_speed: Sony Ericsson have never made a CDMA phone that wasn't strictly japan-market-only with specific au/kddi stuff.

@ddhboy: It's called the Xperia X10 mini and X8, and they let Sony Ericsson sell more Android phones in Q3 than Motorola

@ellito: Untrue, I can't watch the online episodes in my country (without using a firefox header hack).

@—Core—: SNSD, whom ShushKebab posted, are Korean. Japanese groups still look a bit less plastic (and are often a lot younger)

@denki: Now what's a trend I can support

@urfe: Just don't ask what it's fried in, or what's in those sauces

@chef_: So you're saying that they don't care about rushing to market?

@Super Chill English Bro: N8 actually has a compact camera-sized sensor (1/1.83"), larger than any other cell phone sensor.

@tineras: As with everything, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. This is probably a cleaned-up view (they're only showing Giz the nicer parts, e.g. what does that canteen look like? who gets to eat in the food court instead?). Meanwhile, the worst horror stories (garbage sorting plants) are probably less

@Tyrunn: "Cheap" doesn't cut it when students live on ramen, and the free web versions are a quite recent addition. I dunno about other schools, but the one I went to (and dropped out of because working is more fun, and I had already learned everything from Uni I felt I needed) has used the same curriculum for over a

@The_Geek_Greek: Well that's the problem with the iPhone isn't it? You don't have a choice, you get either the expensive one or the even more expensive one.

Have fun with that Apple. I'll continue to listen to unlimited full songs, for free, on Spotify.

@Tyrunn: University isn't a trade school, it's not supposed to teach practical knowledge, but instead give a good theoretical basis, and tech students how to solve problems.

@The_Geek_Greek: And the ZTE Blade/Orange San Francisco costs a fraction of it

@Luke Bennett: The openness is the reason there is choice.

@Tyrunn: Maybe it's not the schools that need to change but instead the institutions keeping MUMPS alive? There's a good reason places like Google get the top coders, and the very worst coders are the ones who end up writing in-house software for large businesses. At Google people get to use inspiring languages like
