Yes, there is a quickly growing selection of mods, but they get totally screwed with after each new patch release. As far as I know, with patch 6 and the DLC, modders haven't found a way to make them work again.

I had my team at level 23 by the end of the DLC, and the final boss still wiped the floor with them. So I wouldn't worry about not being challenged.
