That’s not a good thing, man.
If emulation is bad, please tell me the “good” way for me to play something like Kid Icarus Uprising.

This sort of design would be pretty bad for the couch console crowd. I guess they could go the Wii U direction and add a tablet to the controller, but hopefully Nintendo remembers how that went.

Can we all just take a minute and observe that the top photo is pretty decent photoshop work? The pacifier is so-so, but the baby sun hat is a pretty convincing sell.  Just needs a little more edge blur and depth of field.  Nice!

Musk is such a terrible person that I can’t think of any situation where I’d ever feel bad for him.

Get fucked Musk

Wait, a company with a reactionary idiot CEO who also happens to be trying to be CEO for multiple other companies at the same time is struggling now that there are actual problems to resolve and competition from other companies?

I might be able to muster up some empathy if all his problems weren’t knowingly and willingly self inflicted.

I have seen “I bought this before Musk went insane” bumper stickers on several Teslas around the area - so I am not looking too deep into who may be thought of as the culprit here.

Now playing

Games like this is what my dad would bring me and my brother from the $1 game bin, like LOWRIDER the game:

“Low rent” would suggest that this is some $5-10 trifle that’s intended to be poorly crafted, dumb fun. This game is retailing at $40- while certainly not AAA territory anymore- it is no small sum. Nobody should be happy that this game ‘exists’ at this price point.

To be fair, Ravensberger aren’t doing themselves any favors with Lorcana. I have three local stores say in the last week that they’re no longer supporting the game because they’re tired of getting fucked over by Ravensberger.

I disagree with every single thing you just said.

I know it’s a little reductive to say they have no incentive to change, but... they have no incentive to change.

I remember there was a rep from TPCi who said that the people who actually play the game don’t matter. 95%+ of their sales are to kids who pester their parents to buy a pack while standing in the check-out at Target, all so they can stare at the art. My own kid is exactly the same way (even though I’d like to get back

As someone who occasionally eats vegan (meaning that I am not vegan or even vegetarian, but my family does vegan nights occasionally for dietary variety), I have found that the least successful vegan dishes are the ones that try to emulate non-vegan dishes. Having the vegan version seems like a letdown and makes me

This reads like it’s supposed to be some kind of gotcha, but I can’t tell what kind of point you think you’re making or what you think it’s a counterpoint to.

And a large part of silent movies were wiped out due to a 1937 vault fire. London After Midnight, a 1927 movie starring Lon Chaney is symbolic of the films that simply disappeared in that fire. Unless someone digs up a copy that miraculously survived the vagaries of time in some cold, dark location, pictures of stills

not unlike the film industry before the move to digital. Half of all American films made before 1950 and over 90% of films made before 1929 are lost forever, because it wasnt seen as an important thing to preserve until film became respected as an art form and not a sideshow distraction.

Hoping gaming starts preserving

This certainly conforms to my experience recently. We’re looking for a new car and the lots are largely barren - except for dedicated EVs from some companies. We could have jumped into a Solterra, BZ4X, Mach-E, e-Mini, etc. immediately - just completed the sale and driven it off the lot... and in any number of
