my god they say in the article that this is a SMALL part of the book Ye gods, she was a teenager with an abusive mother, in an abusive system and she was jealous of someone. She has done a lot of work on herself and she’s being honest about being jealous/envious of someone.

I’m just going by the quote in the article b/c I did not watch the video, but LOL at Bure advising her followers to be mindful in their interactions with others - not because it’s the right thing to do but because “even a 10 second trending TikTok video can do damage”. Just as Jesus always said.

I’ll preface this by saying I think that the “mutually abusive” line is bullshit, and that eventually lashing out at your abuser does not constitute a “mutually abusive” relationship. But:

Also, she didn’t have to prove anything.  HE had to prove that she was lying.  The fact a juror in the case didn’t understand this is maddening.

“What I think is truthful is that they were both abusive to each other,” he says. “I don’t think that makes either of them right or wrong… but to rise to the level of what she was claiming, there wasn’t enough or any evidence that really supported what she was saying.”

Um... you know that the swinging Spider-Man at Disney’s California Adventure is a robot, right?

It does beg the question of whether Heard knew about the conflict prior to actually putting her ass in the chair.  If she didn’t there wouldn’t have been the need for Guthrie to make the disclaimer.

Yeah, I get it’s a happy ending, but yes, can do without the “do better.” So snotty and superior, that I can do without.

I don’t think it’s wrong for people to tell her that the word in her song makes them uncomfortable or ask for her to change it. On the other hand, a lot of the responses don’t seem to get that the word isn’t remotely offensive in US English and she legitimately just didn’t know how it would be taken in the UK and

I mean, I guess it’s nice she changed it. Or whatever.

So Van was in a pretty textbook fugue state, which explains her out of character behavior.

Excellent episode.

The bread was worth the wait.

I didn’t think it was hilarious, though I never felt this show was a comic showcase, rather a sounding board for Glover to explore. I honestly enjoyed the journey and fascinated by the messages he wanted to bring to the viewer. Alternate, new and surprising points of view had me looking forward to the various stories

I’m not exactly sure what the fuck that was...but I liked it. What I do know is Zazie Beetz absolutely killed it.

Between this and the new season of DERRY GIRLS, Liam Neeson cameos are all the rage these days.

Yeah but it’s Greta Gerwig directing it, so I have full faith it’ll be a surprisingly fun AND feminist romp.

Yes, think of the depths of being suicidal she could have reached by sticking around for 5 more years of the same kind of treatment! New records could have been broken!

“...William and Kate, because I think that they are willing to do this incredibly challenging, dutiful role while being modern people who people can identify with.”

The interviewee lost me at that exact moment.
