So - it took the allegations of two men of color and one white woman - before you could believe it was possible one white dude, with a pretty questionable history, was an asshole? Math adds up.

You subscribe to it via Amazon Prime.

As someone who crewed on In the Heights, I may be biased, but I will advocate for that. Most folks aren’t aware of it is they are of Hamilton, obviously - but it’s still pure Lin Manuel Miranda, and pretty brilliant. Also, Jon M. Chu understands how to shoot musical spectacle pretty well - and it’s a big budget

You can also subscribe to HBO Max via Amazon Prime, and just watch through that app. I have a Roku TV, and that’s what I do - same exact selection. (I got tired of doing the whole HDMI thing through my computer.)

Haha thank you, we out here! :)

As a black female filmmaker, I very much think this is a good thing, and we should encourage more of it. For background - I’m an aspiring feature director that’s had my script in high profile, diversity focused lab programs - and I also work as a union crew Behind-the-Scenes shooter for major Warner Bros and Netflix

He might legally be violating his NDA if he just tweets specific details about what happened on set.

It seems to me like Rose probably misremembered some details/perhaps combined it with some other experiences - but that her trauma came from a truthful place. The playboy channel piece Payne directed was released in 1991 - which means it was filmed earlier in the year, or the year prior. Rose didn’t turn 18 until

Yeah, and according to IMDb, that was released in 1991. So it was likely shot earlier in the year, or the year prior. If Rose’s birthday was in September, she probably would have been 17 at the audition. As he says in his post, he probably assumed she was 18 if she attended the audition. So - it seems like it’s a grey

Wish I could star this more times. This man was getting death threats in his DMs on a regular basis...most folks are willingly ignoring the main reason why he was angry.

That really isn’t that confusing? Or different from Amazon - where there are plenty of movies you can either buy or rent, not included in normal Prime. Same with Disney, you need to keep your Prime account to access your purchases.

Also said above, but it bares repeating.

Please educate yourself about colorism. It is a very real, very painful aspect of racism, based on the caste systems that colonialism and slavery created. People literally bleach their skin around the entire world because of it.

(Posted this further below as well)

For an up and coming black actor, violating Warner Bros’ NDA could actually be a pretty big deal. Perhaps it prohibits him from discussing specific incidents on set (even if he can more generally say that someone’s an asshole). Whether or not it holds up legally, it’ll likely effect his casting prospects, and whether

Not discounting Pac’s artistic genius and musical contributions - do we really want to refer to sexual assault accusations as “bad boy behavior”? He was essentially convicted of gang-raping a woman.

Yes, for a woman of color, this has completely different connotations. It’s not to say that it couldn’t ever happen - but as a biracial, bisexual woman myself - this feels like it was written by a white woman who forgot that Kat is black.

Seriously? It’s not like they held a press conference - they were simply living their lives/affectionate towards each other in public - which I’ve seen many non famous folks do at protests. How are we to know if it’s they’re “debut” out together, or the first time ppl noticed? We’re angry if celebrities are silent,

speaking as a very new-agey brown person, those things are not mutually exclusive.

My roommate recently bailed on me mid-month, leaving me the holding the bag for May rent - after promising me, as recent as March, that he would give me at least a month’s notice if he couldn’t afford rent. We never signed the lease, due to our landlord not completing repairs - so he said it was screwing over the
