Saving graces: the wheels are mostly black and it’s an EV. With regenerative braking, brake dust is less likely to be produced and will be less visible when it does accumulate.

The production models have pretty poor build quality, even 22 models.  it’s improving a bit on the gaps, but the cheap plastic and wiggly interior parts are still there.

This type of rule (stop signs as yields, red lights as stop signs) makes a lot of sense. In many cases, urban lights are timed for peak traffic or are sensor activated. Did we all just forget that Hyundai also had a huge EV recall from their LG batteries bursting into flames as well? I guess cool retro styling is what it takes to be allowed to move on, not an ad campaign.

It just looks like a boring car to me. I agree that giving it a facelift would have been nice, if for no other reason than to get a little distance from their four-wheeled Molotov cocktails.

Pacifica plug-hybrid for the win. It can do everything for our family of three kids and a dog, but ford creeks, but that’s what our other “car” is for.
