I’m actually hoping for a GTI fighter instead of a Golf R/Focus RS/Civic Type-R competitor. I love my Gen 3, but throw the 250hp turbo from the Mazda6 into a Signature-level Mazda3 hatch and I’ll be first in line.

I love that old Mazda logo. I’ve wanted to make a decal, turn it sideways, and put it on my 3.
They were going to bring the Focus Active, the only reason they aren’t now is that they’d be built in China and tariffs make that an unprofitable venture.
Any idea how much it costs to import Mazda2 facias?
Make it black, with white (or green for that retro look) digits, no fake analog dial, and a simple gas gauge.
For 2015/2016 models, you can actually hack Android Auto onto the system. It’s far from perfect (music skips if you’re on map mode, for example, so I just stay on the home screen), but I didn’t notice any real deficiencies until I had a rental car with “real” Android Auto. Maybe they could really honor the original by giving the car it’s real name back. I get the whole realigning names to make more sense, but that’s an SLK, damnit! Sportlich (sporty), leicht (light), kurz (short)!
How, in my 15 years of welcoming every summer with a fresh Oberon, have I never heard of Uberon until now?
Somehow, the big bowtie models look way better than the big, bold CHEVROLET models. Maybe it’s the chrome bar with body color bumper breaking it up that does the trick, but it makes the thing almost palatable.
