Larson doesn’t appear to have helped herself, though, from a PR perspective. And there will be problems if she doesn’t get on with the other cast members, as appears to be the case.

That Last Jedi move is one that makes less physical sense the longer you think about it.

The library scene would have been even better if it wasn’t the velociraptor kitchen sequence from “Jurassic Park” with zombies.

There was brief moment where I hoped that was going to be the plot twist to end all plot twists: a reveal that the final three episodes didn’t actually exist, and the story ended here.

> It’s been a weakness for GOT since season 4 or so
Season 5. It all goes downhill in season 5. My season ratings would be:
1 - 8/10
2 - 8/10
3- 9/10
4- 9/10
5- 7/10
6- 6/10
7- 5/10
8- 4/10 (so far)

I keep reading people saying this. My image was absolutely fine. I’m watching on a five year old plasma TV. What are others watching on, and is the tech bad for dark images?

This was probably the most-predicted plot element of the episode. But the thing most commonly bolted on to said prediction was, “...but everyone buried in the crypt should just be old dusty skeletons by now”. And indeed they should have been.

Dear god, I am getting fed up of battles in which the defenders decide the best opening gambit is to charge out at the attackers. What the FUCK was that “defense” of Winterfell? Sending the cavalry out to seek battle in the open against an unseen enemy of unknown size? Placing exposed infantry in front of built

That’s not what fridging is.

If that were the case you wouldn’t expect them to make a point about being careful not to do anything that would clearly alter their past (speaking to their other selves etc). But that all seems to go out of the window halfway through the second act. It feels like the writing got a little muddled, with ideas for

But that gets into the slightly tedious business of power inflation, which tends to be a bad road down which to travel.

> Any time travel plot is gonna have paradoxes that don’t quite resolve.

But every time somebody has come back, it’s been to the machine that sent them, like it was an anchor to which they would return.

I guess that could work. But...shouldn’t he have returned to the machine?

> Also got the bittersweet feeling that the MCU has now peaked
Me too.

You’re fine with time travel if you choose one of the three major models and stick to it consistently. The Terminator and 12 Monkeys, for instance, are absolutely fine. (T2 uses a different model from The Terminator, however, which is somewhat problematic.)

Because if you’re right about there being a splinter universe generated, it actually has two Romanovas in it (briefly). One dies on Vormir; the other is safely back on Earth.

That would have been awesome.
“Stark! STARK! Make it bigger! I demand it!”

I don’t see how they can build another standalone move around Captain Marvel now she has her powers. An origin story where she can’t fully activate them, sure, as she’s a key component in the battle against Thanos. But she’s too godlike and powerful to make subsequent instalments interesting. It would be like having a

That doesn’t really seem to fit the rules, though. That isn’t Hawkeye making a sacrifice of something he loves. It also goes against the mechanics we see in Infinity War: Gamora tries to kill herself specifically so that Thanos cannot sacrifice her of his own volition. It has to be *him* that’s responsible for her
