> That’s the worst kind of loss.
No, that misses the point. A loss is not a *sacrifice*. A sacrifice is something you do willingly even though it hurts like hell. A horrible choice that you make. Hawkeye did not make that choice. Quite the opposite.

That’s a good point re: Hawkeye not making the sacrifice.

> By returning to Carter he’s already made an alternate universe
All well and good, but if he’s made an alternative universe, why has he just turned up as an old man in the universe from which he departed?

Not to mention half of them will have remarried.

> At this point, there really is no reason to return the stones.
Correct.
But the thing that really does not tally is that Cap goes back in time and by rights should create a new splinter timeline. Yet here he is as an old man in the same original timeline.

> Cap basically at the end travels back to his universe/timeline to pass on the torch (probably penny had already died in the timeline that he went back to).

But BUCKY AND WILSON MEET HIM ON A FUCKING BENCH. He’s still in their one single timeline.

Sorry; that’s bullshit.

Presumably he had also died in the snap and recently been returned.

Back to the Future has absolutely no consistent logic. It switches between models as it sees fit.

It’s gonna be creepy that some of the returned will now be in the same dating pool as kids who were once five years younger than them.

Seriously? Peggy was astonished to see him when he was thawed out. She clearly hadn’t seen him in 60 years.

Yep; did not make a lick of sense.

I rewatched Age of Ultron last week and thought it was absolutely belting...much better than I’d remembered it as being. The final 20 mins drags somewhat, but the rest of the film is excellent. I also watched Iron Man 2 and Dark World (the latter being recommended as prep for Endgame by a friend who works in post on

I thought the first two acts were great. The third, not so much.

So I thought they were going to do something really neat whereby they all travel in time for their temporal heist without ever actually affecting their timeline, i.e. this is set in a tenseless hypercube universe where history can never be changed. Those are the most satisfying stories when they’re pulled off

I hope he’s no older than five.

This would all be so engaging and emotional if only Emilia Clarke could act.

Your sentence is well-formed, but has no clear purpose in the discussion.

Oranges can be used as hatstands.
