While experts say there is no risk to using Stanley cups that are in perfect condition, do you really want to take the risk? There are plenty of alternative cups, such as Stanley’s lead competitor Hydro Flask, out there that don’t contain lead.

Definitely looks like this might have gone for a swim at some point.

It’s just a dealership of exotic cars in FL.

It would be inappropriate to refer to this as “journalism” at all... at this point this site’s coverage is basically “Ah, something undesirable happened in the same zip code as a Boeing aircraft, no need to wait for the facts, blame Boeing’s safety culture”

Please refer to my subsequent response in this same thread

To be fair, it’s more like “designed exclusively by people who report to an idiot”

Instead of wasting my own time typing up why the legal concept you just googled isn’t applicable to this conversation, I’ll just refer you to some actual lawyers.

I have never once heard Starbucks referred to as a “restaurant” and it feels so wrong.

Yeah I was thinking the same, few boxes get dropped and they just shoved stuff back in boxes and carried on.

I love the irony of your statement. “Only the people from the other political party would make such sweeping assumptions based on stereotypical biases” which is in fact itself a sweeping assumption based on a stereotypical bias.

And while he did sound sincere and embarrassed at his error, it does shed some light on the fact that many people somehow still seem surprised to learn that a woman can competently do the same jobs that society has coded as masculine.

I understand a BBJ might not be the most practical/economical solution, but I would not be surprised in the slightest if Boeing made the decision that the extra expense is worth it to avoid the potential negative appearance of a jet manufacturer flying their own execs using another brand.

And even those industries already keeping people under 32 hours will probably also have similar negative potential impacts from this legislation. Presumably if the standard week goes from 40 to 32 hours, the benefits threshold will also go down similarly, so now the guys previously capped at 32 hours might see their

Obviously my example is over-simplified and extreme. But you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think there’s some significant portion of the employee population that would be deemed worthwhile to re-train someone new if it saves 20% on their pay.

Tell me you don’t know anything about employment law without telling me you don’t know anything about employment law.

I think the author’s point/emphasis is on the rocket/the entire vehicle being recovered and reused. For the space shuttle, weren’t the SRB and external tank discarded?

But aside from the minimum wage floor, it would be super easy for an employer to work around this or incredibly burdensome for the government to enforce.

Yeah it seems like this wouldn’t be the boon for workers that it’s chalked up to be.

And what makes you think that Boeing, one of the major producers of business jets, would go and buy non-boeing jets for their executive travel?

Ah yes, the weekly Jalopnik financial article written by someone who clearly doesn’t understand the underlying subject matter.
