Are there any specific non-unicorn type situations it doesn’t cover you can share?

Probably also varies widely depending on where in new york you’re located. Might be inflated by the folks in NYC proper paying through the nose.
We also don’t know if the error was made at the original factory, or somewhere down the line if the door plug was removed for other service or modification after it was delivered, so it’s entirely possible the factory inspectors didn’t even have an error to catch at the time they inspected.
Sure it’s not everything, but are you going to tell me with a straight face that displacement isn’t a massive piece of the speed equation?
Do you think it’s possible that maybe, just mayyybbbeee the government has different requirements for things like the FDA versus NASA and the department of defense?
But did anyone realistically think of something like the lightning as a “track” truck versus just a really fun street truck?
“C4 Vette with its lowly push-rod V8"
+1 to this. Every time there’s an article about a new off-road truck/SUV there’s guaranteed to be at least a couple commenters who think they’re so clever with “oh this will look great at the mall parking lot” but nobody seems to bat an eye when there’s a post about some sporty track edition of a car that most owners…
From the looks of it on their website, it looks like basically a salamander/broiler flipped on its side so you can sear/broil both sides at once.
I was thinking the same. Some of these like meth in a burrito I honestly don’t blame the person for thinking it might work, which makes me think it was probably dumb luck TSA caught it (unless they did something stupid like wrapped the meth in tin foil making it obvious on x-ray).
While I certainly agree the education/student loan system is broken with lots of universities charging insane tuition and luring people into mountains of debt, I am sorry but I just can’t force myself to feel sorry for someone who decided to go into F-it mode and choose to make their situation even worse.
While payments were halted, 36 percent of consumers with student loans took on an automotive loan, according to TransUnion. Now saddled with more debt, those consumers are at particular risk, the credit reporting agency said.
Please just take a deep breath and re-read my comment in full and I think you’ll feel much less offended by it.
If by “privilege” you mean “expecting people to avoid taking on additional debt if being able to afford it is dependent on student loan forgiveness which is not guaranteed” then sure
Please re-read my comment, it is in no way a condemnation of the entire population of student loan holders, just that minority discussed in this article who also took out a car loan they couldn’t afford during a temporary pause in student loans. I’m not making any statement on whether student loans should/shouldn’t be…
First, market cap does not at all equal GDP contribution. Market cap is the total valuation of a company based on the present value of lifetime earning expectations of the company, GDP is a measure of single year earnings so generally the market cap of a company will be several times their contribution to GDP, even…

Exactly. Goes to college on a student loan, but doesn’t put in the work to turn it into a solid career, then during a period of temporary loan payment pause, goes out and buys a car and takes out a note banking on student loans being forgiven or never resuming, then they want pity for struggling to reap their…
I’m not here to say any of that. But I will say that if someone had a student loan for which payments were paused, and during that time they purchased a car took out a loan they would struggle to afford if/when student loan payments resumed, I have zero sympathy for them.
I’m sorry, but if you 1) took on a student loan 2) Didn’t use that education to get a decent paying job 3) Went out and bought a car and took on a car loan during the period where student loan payments were paused that you would be unable to afford or struggle to afford if/when student loans were unpaused
