I like the principal of it all and that someone can’t be bought. If they were smart, they would have taken his crazy $15 million price seriously, as I’m sure they lost more than that over the years not having it than he lost not giving it to them, but they were not aware how important things like domain names were…
Damn brotha, you’re in too deep.
If you are going to wear a jacket with jeans, don’t wear a jacket that is close to the same color. You are blending a semi-formal structured jacket with very casual pants, so you need contrast. Also, fuck this guy.
He’s balding and his name is Nair? I see a lucrative endorsement deal in his future.
Not cool, but one tweet made me laugh:
I absolutely want to fight about this. While I’m not anti-dog, per se, I am anti many dog owners. I don’t own any dogs, don’t plan to ever own dogs and think it’s not too much to ask four things of dog owners:
You know what I hate? The fact that “pet friendly” is usually code for “dog friendly only, no other pets”. Notably for hotels. Thank goodness its been years since I’ve had to travel such distances with a cat that required a hotel stay, but it does happen (especially for moves) and most of the time when a hotel says…
Ban dogs AND children. Why not both?
We can’t trust the Sword of a Thousand Truths to a noob.
Of course you would say that.
This was, hands down, the best game of 2017 for me. I now Zelda was a more popular choice and that was a very good game, but Horizon just had everything. Great game, amazing graphics, and one of the better sci-fi stories videogames have ever done. It’s not the best open world game this gen (nothing touches the Witcher…
IMO Horizon fully deserved the Best Story awards because it made you give SO many cares about what is ultimately a very esoteric and out-there story normally reserved for “wouldn’t it be cool if” conversations.
Great article! I thought that during many of the year end discussions that I read/listened to Horizon didn’t receive as much credit for the story that was crafted. I know that as it progresses many of the story beats are told through audio files but, at least for me, I was completely on board with everything that…
The thing I love about the grave conversations is that its actually following through on her earlier conversation about how to get around the Nora’s rule against outside contact.
I love this game’s story just so fucking much. I sped through the last third of the game because BotW showed up in the mail and I really regret it - I missed a lot of the later findable logs that fleshed out the Zero Dawn team.
