Firstly, they don't actually want this to happen; they merely believe it will. Secondly, we tolerate this, because they don't, as far as we can tell, actively try to cause the deaths of other people, let alone the population of the earth. LEGO has never stopped producing standard bricks. The only stuff they actually did stop making, however, were the custom parts for older sets. Things like large printed pieces that could not be used for anything else, the big translucent pieces that were used to make domes/canopies and the sort, and these are sets
