A colonized planet would pretty much be, yeah. The idea of a worlds war would be frightening. Imagine waging war with the prospect of potentially leaving your enemy with minimal impact on your own ecology.

Fully agreed. I thought they were perfect in what was an otherwise super-flawed set of films. If it wasn't for them, I don't think the movies would've survived.
