The ‘94 Mustang. The first redesign after the 3rd gen Fox body era. The single mustang emblem on the grill, fender skirts, ducts and scoops, just looked so custom and beautiful to anything that was out at the time, save for the 1st Gen Viper.

Miata. In 1989 I was 14 and up until then I had been infatuated with the MGB. At that point, the world saw two-seater convertibles as unreliable nightmare machines from the factory. The Miata was the first reliable roadster and was plenty exciting to boot.

Mitsubishi 300ogt Twin turbo, 4 wheel steering, AWD, hard top convertible. The thing was like a space ship on wheels.

I have two. Bear with me as my dreams and aspirations are kind of pedestrian.

1996 Dodge Viper GTS. It started a life-long obsession for 10-year-old me, and although it took a long time for me to save up to get one, I still smile every time I open my garage and see one sitting there.

The 1994 Dodge Ram front end was a complete departure from what other manufacturers were doing with pickup trucks up until that point. While it is pretty ‘meh’ nowadays, it set a trend that almost all other manufacturers started designing toward in the years after and still carries on today, 27 years later.

1st Generation Ford Taurus. Looked like the space shuttle compared to the boxy cars that were normal of that era. Seemed super futuristic in comparison when it first came out.  Looking back at them now its hard to believe that seemed cutting edge, but it definitely seemed like it was at the time.

People don’t realize tires are much harder to puncture than the movies would have you believe.

Mispractice that the author can write all these words without once acknowledging that “air freshener in car = hiding pot smell” is the #1 reason why cops pull over people with air fresheners, NOT automotive safety.
