There are so many stories out there like this from our grandparents and great grandparents generations. It’s a cool jacket. $1900 cool? Well, no, but I won’t pretend to understand the price that some brands command. With that said, I was (weirdly) more on board with the jacket when I thought the baby came with it. I think Affleck’s probably has the most personality. Bale Wayne is just Batman without the costume. Keaton’s, my favorite because he’s Michael Keaton, is a blank slate. There are a lot of things I disliked about Batman v. Superman and Justice League but Affleck really wasn’t one of them. He’s fine. He’s clearly trying to play a more jaded, beaten down by life Bruce. The only “movie star” version of Batman that I think totally missed the mark was Clooney and I don’t really blame him.…

She used to be funny, but like most comedians when they get rich, she got lazy. She no longer has to write her own material, so every “funny” thing she says didn’t come from her, which means it doesn’t mean anything to her.

So, I actually work in TV production (well...not now because of obvious reasons, but just to give some insight here). The fact that a big production like “Ellen” is using non-union crew is a pretty big deal. That’s usually reserved for indie films or *maybe* some super small TV show.

I’ve seen a nightmarish clip shared of her jokingly trying to force a clearly unwilling Mariah Carey to reveal her pregnancy...by forcing Carey to drink alcohol on live television. Oh but it’s just jokey fun to Ellen, but Mariah Carey is clearly deeply uncomfortable and kind of just forced to accept that she can’t…

Her “nice” persona does not cover up that many of her jokes (written by her or not) are actually mean spirited and making fun of others, but of course not in an un PC way.
