Well, apart from all the mentions. Given 400,000 people were playing at once, most users could log in. However, yes, with the vast numbers of people, there have been issues, as mentioned.

Imagine admitting to spending 300 hours of your life on a garbage game
You mean random weirdos on the internet were wrong when they said they were done making xboxs? Shocking.
To be fair, it does say made, which Star Citizen is not.
I find it odd how this surprises people.
Yeah, I don’t feel like developers are doing anything that demands a new console. If anything, I could see some “slim” versions of a PS5 and just keeping this console around a while. There’s nothing that seems like it’s heads and shoulders above what you could do with a PS4 other than just using some prettier…
What would they even do for a new console? I imagine it’s gonna feel like PS5.5, at best. Like, come on, man. I just got mine last February. Let’s get some more Sony stuff in the pipe.
Man, my PS5 still feels like a newish addition to my console collection. I have no desire for an upgrade. It doesn't even feel like games are pushing it to its limits yet.
I’m confused. I have yet to see more than a handful of truly next gen games. It feels like we barely have enough legitimate next-gen titles to launch a console with. Unless the PS6 comes with something truly unbelievable I’m probably going to hold out until the “pro” variant comes out and stick with PC gaming in the…
I think alterations to the original material is a “dammed if you do dammed if you don’t” situation. Thinking from that perspective, it seems logical to not allocate resources to change these. Also, we don’t see Hollywood making any of these types of changes to their re-releases. Not sure if this deep a criticism is…
For a good example of why Yellow Paint may be necessary, watch a Streamer play the We Sing level of Alan Wake 2.
The unwashed reddit/tweetosphere needs to understand that THEY are not representative of the other millions who play videogames and aren’t terminally online. This kind of thing isn’t FOR THEM. The devs didn’t put that stuff in to insult your intelligence, they put it in for the normies and there are way more of them…
I think people would find it less jarring if it wasn’t the same specific visual in so many different games. Like, I’m sure there’s ways to highlight ladders and ledges that are just as legible (ledgible?) but more rooted in individual worlds - because it’s pretty immersion-breaking when you see stuff that’s explicitly…
Yeah, personally unless I stop the screen and squint at it for awhile I can barely see the difference between performance and graphics in motion, but I would notice the difference between 40-50FPS and 60FPS instantly.
It does look softer, but I just can’t, I need my 60fps.
“It’s a neat idea in practice. In theory, it led to teams shoving their Star to the back of the map on a single high point—which is hard to reach because you have to foam up to it or use a special move—and then just camping back there. This slowed down matches and wasn’t fun at all.”
Hamster replacement.
It’s like people skipped the entire last three hours of the game. It baffles me that anyone who played remake missed the fact that this is NOT just a retelling of the original story.
Agreed. It’s clear that Remake was not called “remake” because it was a remake of the original game, but more of a hint of Sephiroth’s intentions
It wasn’t that difficult to infer after the events of Remake alone.
