I think it means that any games outside that 15 years do not automatically fall under this deal. Everything else however is theirs forever.
If the rules are that people need to grind in order to play competitively, those are really stupid rules.
I’m with a few of the others here. It’s against the rules, but as long as you aren’t surpassing the actual possible limits of what a Pokémon should be I find it hard to call it “cheating” specifically.
Is it cheating? By technical definition, yes. Do I care? Absolutely not. Have I ever gotten caught? Nope, because I know how to make things legit and aren’t lazy with editors.
They don’t consider it part of the competition, though. Someone could pay a dozen middle schoolers to do the grind for them and TPC would be fine with that.
Hatching a hundred eggs to get perfect IVs does not make you better at the game.
breeding pokemon isn’t “spending any time getting better” when i breed my pokemon it doesn’t make me better in vgc.
The rules also prohibit competing naked, but if you did so that isn’t cheating. At best, you could argue that it’s unsportsmanlike conduct, but it isn’t cheating if it doesn’t give you an advantage.
Cheating would be manipulating the RNG seed so your Fissure always hits. Because hacked pokemon perform identically to caught/bred pokemon, this is only eliminating grind that has nothing to do with the competition.
I do not see this as cheating. At the highest level this is about the metagame and mind games and bluffing and optimizing their characters. Having someone grind that out in a game is total crap.
Tell me you have no idea what you are talking about without telling me you have no idea what you are talking about.
LMG is multiple channels and they release 25 videos a week on average. Maybe slow down before trying to pounce on someone else with a big ‘GOTCHA!’; you just look foolish and uninformed.
So, according to LMG themselves, they make:
LTT literally tested a prototype in a way that went against the creator’s explicit instuctions on a wrong GPU (despite Billet Labs providing the GPU on which the cooling block prototype was meant to work - which, as it turns out, was also not sent back to BLL), decided not to correct that in any way, then sold (oh,…
Yeah I hope the Madison thing is just maybe over blown, because it’s pretty damning. That said I have NO ill will towards her, but maybe she just wasn’t good at her job. I followed her on SM and well it wasn’t anything special, she clearly, from her first video on LTT, not very tech savvy, which is perfectly ok, but…
Oh wait KaiUno, you’re suffering from the same thing!
They absolutely do. LMG is more than just LTT. They have a ton of channels at this point, and across them all (all done by the same staff), that is an accurate tally.
Across all of their channels, they total a weekly average of like 25 videos a week
So, ltt does have 5 or 6 channels. Not to mention exclusives that go up on float plane. I believe they were previously trying to get out something like 14 videos a week, and I don’t think includes the float plane exclusives or clips. Though perhaps not multiple dozens, it’s still quite a lot.
