Obviously. Did that negatively affect my enjoyment of the game? Did it affect you or those around me? Did the game punish me? Did Nintendo? Nope. There’s no law about cheating in a casual single player playthrough. I gain nothing but time, and I lose nothing but the respect of some guy in the greys in the Kotaku

Hitting rocks to get gems to get rupees is not exactly an “amazing” time. I just beat the game yesterday, and it was one of the most satisfying boss battles I’ve ever had the pleasure of engaging with. Duplicating 300 diamonds did not take a damn thing away from my enjoyment.

Because repeated mindless grinding is so much fun.....

I’m glad I’m still on 1.0 - this is a good money maker but I’m glad I can still clone the strong fusion items and fairy upgrade items. (Damn fireflies!)

There you go, asked and answered.

i dont think you understand how this works

It’s also a gameplay problem - running through a dungeon trying to find the mobs is not compelling gameplay. The dungeons with the spawns they shut down were showing 3+ elites on the screen regularly, which makes for a better gameplay experience in terms of the satisfaction from winning the fight.

What feels weird to me is slots being taken by things that are basically just irrelevant to the gameplay. Summons, long term buffs, etc. Really the cooldown stuff feels awkward in general, but the way things that aren’t really part of the combat take a slot is annoying.

he’s charging $15 for code he’s written that modifies a game. he’s not selling you a game. he’s selling you his modified code. stfu

You know what’s more akin to a landed gentry? Corporate CEOs. The Reddit employees didn’t vote you, ya dickwad (insert Monty python reference).

Owls have very small brains. Their eyes take most of their skull’s space. All in all, they’re not really smart, even for a bird.

I mean, this was going to happen at some point, not to be a dick but I wish it would’ve happened earlier. PS4 and the X1 are potatoes by today’s standards, all these great new games coming out are certainly playable, at a certain standard. I get a lot of people are okay with the performance and what their consoles can

Yeah, you can feel a lot of XIV’s influence here. They even did the 16 bit avatars too. This isn’t a bad thing as XIV is one of the best FF games out there.

I’m curious as to what people now consider what makes a Final Fantasy game Final Fantasy. I’ll probably stick closer to 14 since it scratches the strategic MMORPG itch, as opposed to the action-heavy combat of Type-0 or 15 where I don’t feel the challenge/satisfaction.

Out of curiosity have you played FF14 at all? While obviously trying to emulate GoT it felt a LOT like 14 to me in so far as the character designs and their dialogue. (Other then the large amount of swearing since T rating for 14 and all) Which makes sense since a large number of the 14 team worked on 16.

What specifically made it “not Final Fantasy” for you?

Do you guys have to write about every instance of some Twitter weirdo thirsting for imaginary characters?

Shipping culture can sometimes be too over the top.

Fans are weird lol, Like a person can’t just be close friends, there always have to be sexual tension?

I mean I stopped playing OW1 (really, because I had to, because OW2 completely overwrote it), but mostly because of the battle pass system and the aforementioned naked greed. There will be whales to replace the money I would have paid, but the best way to protest is to put the damn game down.
