Kingsglaive is not a prequel. It happens simultaneously/parallel to FFXV proper.

I had a question for you, too: how much did you level up in these early chapters, and what abilities/gear/other things did leveling unlock/do? And secondly, how useful was gil($)?
I suppose it’s worth mentioning the PS4 Pro comes out on the 10th of November. It’s the one that’ll play 4k games when they eventually come around (along with potentially improving the quality of older titles). But it also has a much-needed 1TB hard drive, compared the OG and Slim’s barely functional 500GB.
I’m not really one for shipping. Always seemed silly and pointless. Like either there was a clear and obvious canon relationship there or there wasn’t, right? Gurren Lagann comes to mind, with Simon+Nia.
Don’t people watch golf and chess? Not every competition has to be fast paced. There’s an audience for this somewhere, I’m sure.
That’s not necessarily due to a drop in player base, though that could certainly be partially to blame, rather it could just be that everyone else’s MMR/levels have gone higher from playing more and more, and there are fewer people at your MMR/level that are online at the same time as you (and in the same region). The…
People have been skeptical, wondering if there’d be gyros in each Joy-con, but I’m thinking there’ll be a gyro in the Joy-con Grip and in the system itself, so you’d either be “playing on the Gamepad” like before or you’d be playing with a Pro Controller +Gyro on your TV. Can’t say for sure yet, though.
Ah, man. This is exciting. I freaking love FFXIV. I want to see how this battle system “overhaul” plays out. New classes? All of my yes! Especially if it’s Red Mage!
They’re a very specific type of person. While technically and semantically “correct,” they’re not accurate to the context. “3rd person” by itself, maybe, but that’s not what we’re talking about. “3rd person game” paints a very different picture than an “isometric game,” which was the point of my previous specific…
Nah, 3rd person would be like Uncharted or Assassin’s Creed. This game is Isometric, top-down, bird’s eye view, like Diablo and traditional RTS and MOBA games.
Sadly, no. They’re far too lazy.
Idk, man. Nintendo’s pulled off some real neat-o Wizardry in the past. All things are pointing to optimism being the safer bet this time around. I genuinely trust their internal iterative process, and I’m rather positive they’re going to make a great console. NX might really be the silver bullet they’ve been needing.
You weren’t here for the hubbub when Bethesda blacklisted Kotaku for leaking info about their new games?
They are... We knew about it ages ago, and they just made a big deal about their new Super Mario 3D Land edition New 3DS (not XL) in the latest Nintendo Direct from like... last week.
Stream just died. lol.
Well if that’s the case, to be quite honest, you’d be far better of with the likes of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for a short and sweet experience just for that MMO kick. As much as I love Blizzard and the World of WarCraft™, it’s definitely the sort of experience that really shines the brightest when you’re in…
Sort of, yeah. Buying “World of Warcraft” includes all expansions pre-Legion (the new one), and that sets you back... I think it’s $20. Then Legion itself is $40 for the standard non Deluxe version. So $60 baseline, $80 if you want the collector’s stuff, and then $15 for every month you intend to play.
“The quest involved a mystery of sorts, which found me in The Frozen Throne’s Nexus dungeon”
Stormwind is now ruled by Varian’s son, King Anduin, the same whiny kid we chased all over Pandaria two expansions ago.
