eh, my 4-year old loved it, and it at least wasn't offensive, so it's alright by me.
Also, I had a hard time with Windlifter, but even though the character was playing to Native American stereotypes, they were positive stereotypes, and he was voiced by Wes Studi. Given how seldom Native Americans are portrayed in…
Bravo, AV Club. Well done.
And I forgot Inside Amy Shumer.
NFY is worth a watch, it's pretty incredible. Kroll Show seems to be an acquired taste, but I think it's brilliant for the most part (although I thought season 1 was better than season 2.)
Can't believe Broad City, Key & Peele, Kroll Show, Nathan For You weren't nominated. Well I mean I guess I can believe it, but that doesn't make it right.
What if Jeremy Kandichuk jumped off a bridge? Hmm? Would you jump off a bridge too? Because Jeremy Kandichuk did it?
Just reading your comment made me laugh out loud
I laughed out, even applauded, loud throughout this episode. Winner.
Rage was a band that was best enjoyed when it's first album dropped. Sounded pretty new and capitalized on amorphous white suburban teen angst. I "loved" that first album, but haven't listened to any of their music in almost 20 years and have never felt like I'm missing anything.
I see your point, I truly do, buuuuut…..no one really cares about the White Sox, soooooooo……..maybe both can be "the Sox?"
Just watched about an hour and 15. Actually interesting and insightful. Yeah it's stuff that is available elsewhere but I had never seen or heard a lot of it, especially the Brennan stuff. And it's edited in a pretty competent way.
So where is that pic of Robin Williams from?
"Like Sam the Butcher slippin' Alice the meat"…
As a red-blooded man, I like girls. Likewise, I have previously, in this space, defended my appreciation of potables, and the vessels they are served in. However, I just don't see the appeal of Two Girls/One Cup. I mean, I'll keep an open mind about any of their future projects, but 2G/1C? Not for me.
Adam Sandler must have been an absolute SAINT in a previous life. Good for him; he realized that he could do something incredibly (if we are judging by results) easy and fun and make Scrooge McDuck type cheddar. I think more than anything, the reason we get mad at AS is because when most of us were a bit younger, we…
This guy is new here.
Yeah I agree. Not that it couldn't work with new people, but I was always a bigger fan of the original lineup than any other incarnation. The voices were just so so perfect.
Oh DEFINITELY. But whereas rape takes a vital and ostensibly loving and shared experience and warps it, torture is just torture. Murder is murder, torture is torture, slavery is slavery, but rape is taking a beautiful thing and making a weapon of it. Not sure I'm articulating that as well as I should be.
Ha! Indeed. And how about that civility?! All the best
