My parents told me I would grow out of video games, smoking weed, and having casual sex. It’s ALMOST as if that’s a part of life that regular people deal with and not only gay people!!!

All you overly sensitive weenies will die out eventually. You’re the first to go when survival of the fittest comes into play.
She’s a gamer who is played a lot more AC Odyssey than me. I played the DLC after finishing the game but she beat the whole game twice. And yeah because she is a lesbian, I wanted to know her opinion on the “outrage”.
She’s my best friend and would tell me what’s what. She’s painfully blunt a lot of the time.
I’m surprised people didn’t realize the side games would be essential after they released Chain of Memories. People would be pretty confused going from KH1 to 2 without playing that one. But at least they’re all on PS3/4 for the cheap now.
Was fandom a mistake?
I’ve never heard of 8chan. Is that like 4chan but twice as bad?
My lesbian roommate wasn’t offended.
I told this to my lesbian roommate for her opinion (just to see if I was in the wrong) and she said people need to GROW UP and I choked on my beer.
I really stirred up the hive. I must have gotten every single person in the world who was offended by this trophy to respond! All 30 of them!
I guarantee that’s not why they named it Growing Up. They named it that because babies grow up... and in this case, become assassins.
The game didn;t insinuate being straight was growing up, it was insinuating that babies eventually grow up. All the LGBT people who work for Ubisoft didn’t even notice and that says something.
*gets offended by a trophy name that offends marginalized people
As a straight male, I was told EVERYTHING I did that was out of the norm for a typical suburban white kid was a phase or I will grow out of it. I don’t see why this is getting people all worked up. And you’d have to be thicker than a bowl of oatmeal to not get the correlation between the baby and the Growing Up trophy.
The 15 people who got upset probably got upset after playing it anyways.
If they were all gay, the bloodline would die out. Fact.
The fact that ubisoft employs a lot of LGBT and not a single person brought this up should be pretty telling. And I didn’t attribute it to being gay because parents say EVERYTHING that goes against the norm is a phase or you’ll grow out of it. LGBT aren’t special in that regard. I was told the same about listening to r…
You mean it wasn’t painfully obvious that “growing up” was in reference to the baby? I didn’t even understand the outrage until someone explained it to me... hence my comment. So sick of people dictating what is offensive and what isn’t. I’m just glad I don’t personally know anyone IRL with this thin of skin (and most…
I was more referring to the trophy name, which was not at all intended to mean what all these people seem to think it means. Ubisoft has always been an LGBT friendly company so to get outraged at the title of a trophy (and you know damn well the people complaining knew Ubisoft didn’t mean any harm) seems like a slap…
I played as a lesbian woman in the game just to be different and I was surprised they didn’t give you a choice in the DLC, but then I remembered that scissoring doesn’t make babies and that the whole point was for procreation in order to have the assassin bloodline continue.
