Europe doesn't need the American military for defense. The American air bases in the UK are miniscule compared to the UK's defense force.

I was wondering why this car was so cheap. I've been looking into E90 M3's and the cheapest ones I've found have been 38,000 dollars. You got me excited that somehow the resale just tanked in the new year.
This is a powerful message. Because it can do everything a Camry can do, but it's also just better.
No, but a reasonable interpretation of FAA statute would suggest that they should do what's minimally required to have someone pay attention. I don't see how a video is different, they can ask people to remove headphones then too.
"Actually sometimes people do, they never know my job title."
I hated doing the seat belt demo. It's not done because the airlines think it's super fun, but because the government makes them. So shut up about it to your FA/Steward(ess)/Air Waitress. It's fucking mandatory, and they hate it as much as you do.
Do tell? Photos? THE Aerolithe?
the aerolithe has been found and is being restored within 60 miles from NYC. I held the firewall in my hand over the summer.

Oh come on, there was one other fun car: the Melkus RS 1000.
In that case what is wrong with hating on large inefficient cars in a country with small roads and high fuel prices? When it comes down to that it doesn't matter where the car is from. Either way GM and Ford were smart enough to set up European operations that have been very successful so saying we are Anti-American…
The 'us versus them' mentality is prevalent everywhere. I see Americans guilty of this frequently too (and Germans, the English, you name it). Not that 'Europeans' see themselves as Europeans, US citizens don't see themselves as 'North Americans' either.
Exactly. Maybe it would help a little if these releases also included a little commentary on the segment. Some context would be valuable as to why a car exisits. An analysis of the car and how it competes and who it's target marget is. It could actually be a separate column.
This is so horrible looking. Finally maybe BMW can stop taking the heat for its X6. Im glad this thing came out, makes the BMW look good.

I wonder if this is some kind of elaborate statement about America. "Well, nobody bought my beautiful cars, and Bob Lutz wants to drop in V8s and sell them. Americans don't care about style, and I'll prove it!"
I'm pretty sure this is just Fisker making fun of American cars than seriously trying to make something beautiful.
ugh. this makes it look like the car's having a severe allergic reaction to a bee sting. This is what the vaunted Henrik Fisker came up with?
Donald MacPherson was driving along in his Buick at 8 MPH when something went horribly wrong with one of the wheels…
