See that's the thing Americans a special people with very superficial needs. But most canadians are ok with small cars and small engines.

The "garnish" on the hood is from a centuries old Bavarian hunting tradition. In America, the kill is usually commemorated by some photos, bragging to your friends, and a delicious family dinner. In Germany, they have what is best described as a funeral for the animal. The body is laid across some pine boughs…
My grandfather spent much of his professional life in Germany, and he learned to hunt there. He always talked about the hunting ethic in Europe that prized culling the weak and old animals from the herds over "trophies." He also told me about a touching tradition that was important to the jaegermeisters - it was…
Chalk it up to progress. As we become more urban-centric, more people grow up around the idea that meat comes in neatly packed packages... without thinking that piece of tri-tip used to be a cute bouncing calf once... actually that probably didn't last very long either as they are pretty much raised and kept in…
There is a %0.0 percent chance of D standing for Diesel.
it really is the first supercar in a long time I adore.
Sooo... is this going to be a production car or what? I mean it looks more showroom-ready than a lot of cars that are currently on sale.
Maybe that's the only way Lambo could be a rebel in this field. I mean, a Lamborghini should always be something different, and if everybody else starts doing insane, why not go in the opposite direction? It distinguishes the car from the pack, that's for sure.
Sometimes I wonder if I died and I'm currently living in Hell, which is exactly like earth except there is no COTD no matter how hard we try.
I don't think I'm alone in saying that I would totally ride a bike, if it wasn't for the other idiots on the road. Granted, I'm an idiot too but I'm at least an attentive idiot. I told my wife she is welcome to get the scooter she wants when we move to the countryside. I'm not being a sissy and I'm not pretending…
If Jalopnik doesn't re-instate COTD just for this post, there is no God.
That Scrambler looks pretty cool...I think I would try that out, as the weight and power aren't so intimidating.
Got a light or can I just use your Ferrari?
Well, they presumably sell the Punto in Spain itself (though it has different derogatory meanings in different parts of the world).
Better views....
That's because Cooper is a trim/performance option, like GTI for the Golf or SI for the Civic. Mini decided they didn't want to offer lower powered non-Cooper Minis in the US, but that doesn't change the fact that Cooper is a trim name. Besides the Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper D and Cooper SD you can also get a Mini One…
Have you driven one or seen it in person? I would indeed see Toyota, Lexus, Cadillac, etc as bland, built by accountants. But I love Skoda these days, and as the author mentioned above, Euro-VW quality, which means it will last just like the Toyota and way beyond any Cadillac.
The A8 costs three times as much as the Superb.
They are reliable, that's why all taxis are Octavias around here. They might not be the most interesting cars out there, but they and are much better value than any other VW product.
Finally. Me and my Skoda Superb wagon (not a facelift though) in Amethyst Purple (yes, that's a colour...) thank you!
