That's right: the auto is faster. Anyone else wanna hate on the autobox now?

Be careful, lest the giant Jalopnik boner over this car slaps you in the face for daring to utter a discouraging word against the Hellcat.

You answered your own question.

you and I get that. How about random person with $40k for a car and their list of must have's include leather, nav, sunroof and heated seats?

let the flames begin...but from a mass market perspective, this strategy makes a ton of sense. People are decent at remembering that 5 is bigger than 3, but the current ats/cst/etc dosent allow for people to wrap your head around it as easy as numbers.

They are selling as fast as they can at $10k over list (faster than they can, actually). Lowering the price to MSRP isn't going to sell them any faster. They'd just have a longer wait list.

The Sultan of Brunei also probably has 504 cars, so it evens out.

Median or Mean?
I would be way more interested in Median.

You should look up the definition of xenophobic.

Bullcrap.

I agree with you in the most part but I don't think I've ever come across 'Europeans are biased to their own products' at all. I based it (given narrowly I agree) that for a population of the U.S. and the sheer number of 'trucks' that are sold yearly compared to small cars (say the Ford Fiesta (which I think has caught a lot of peoples attention)) is marginal at best and with comments on other car related forums decrying small cars as

Besides that Ford Europe is quite successful here, and that people also like Jags and Mazers, let me retort.

"This is different, and we are perfect. Therefore, we will not consider that, because we already know that ours is better as we built it and it is perfect. We need nothing else."

I'm confused, I assume you mean BMW, Mercedes, and Audi for big German 3. But what about other Euro brands like Renault or Citroën/Peugeot? Do you consider the former just a subsidiary of Nissan?

You know I kind of like it being up...

Imagine, if you will:

The proportions in profile are a bit off to me, particularly in this sail panel area.
