Shhh, silent. It's the xenophobic Europeans who close their market off. Did you forget?

Been there, done that.

What's the best brown manual diesel wagon? No Miata can deal with that question!

I am not sure if 7500 miles make any difference on a 10 year old car with that many miles. If you're moving to Europe anyways you should maybe think of getting something truly American before leaving - you won't get anything like this in Europe. ;)

Now playing

Not sure whether there is any backstory. But at least there is a date: 2/26/2010 (so you can check who beat whom)

But did you beat the amish?

Jean Todt has visited Schumacher several times after his crash. This report originates from his last visit just before the Suzuka GP (http://www.spiegel.de/sport/formel1/…, couldn't find an english source...).

Yes, I know nothing concrete. But as far as I can see it is the first firsthand report in a long time. Schumacher's condition is still unclear, all we heard is that he has been awake for some weeks now. But hearing that the doctors (and I think that's what Todt's statement is based on) see a possibility for him to

They may have hit the bottom of the depreciation curve but one repair (and at 150k probably anything can happen) will come costly and will eat that little value that's left. I am not into the (US) used market but there was a piece on Jalopnik not long ago: http://carbuying.jalopnik.com/the-ten-most-d…. The Cherokee XJ

Doesn't look like a good move to get such old iron. Those generations of X5/ML weren't very nice when new so probably not very good with 150k on the clock. Why are you looking at them? Or what did you miss in your Focus? The newer Foci got even better so you should probably look at getting a newer Focus with less

I think you wouldn't necessarily need a V8 SUV for your needs. You could probably broaden your range of possible vehicles if you're not looking for the ride height and room of a SUV in particular. Especially if you're putting emphasis on MPG you could look into wagons or even hatches with less cylinders and AWD/FWD

Sounds like you want a Miata.

but would you want one with the wrong engine?

Please educate me. But I can't think of a reason why the Volvo P1800 ES existed in the first place. I mean they had the P1800... I can't see why they had to make a shooting brake out of it...

Hope they learned their lesson. 914s are such a cool breed. You just don't start to hack them. I hope that "Lambo orange" looks at least roughly like the original orange of the time. Judging by the pictures it seems to fit but when I think of the two "Lambo oranges" that I can think of it's just not right...

argh. what's wrong with the boxer engine? I am also wondering why they are selling it in this state (?)

I couldn't care less about the Ghia. Tell me more about this little gem! I hope they left it untouched.

I like the microcars of the 50s too. People tend to forget them and think everybody and his mother drove a Beetle back then. They were key to individual transport in many parts of the world and oftentimes little gems if ingenuity. The Fuldamobil just seemed such an usual choice considering most people don't even know

I still remember when badonkadonks were all the rave in the early 2000s:
