Spinal Tap disagrees.

The schizophrenia of sports fans is amazing. They continually agree to these ridiculous subsidies (like this one and Las Vegas) to attract and keep these pro franchises and then complain when the leagues, like the NFL or the NBA announce boycotts or withdraw events because of state or local legislation, like the NC

He has just about achieved full Oscar Gamble.

I remember a few years ago an NPR program had a segment on “The Worst Holiday Songs”. The assembler of the list played Dylan singing “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”. It was pretty bad, and the worst part was that Dylan meant it to be taken seriously.

He thinks they are prank calls:

“Women and POC don’t lie about being assaulted, harassed, and discriminated against...”. Broad generalization. In the instances I mentioned, all were self-perpetrated hoaxes by women: the waitress with the slurs on the check, the Wyoming woman who claimed to have been bullied on the internet, and the professor who

That’s true. I was referring to the identity of the perpetrators. For example, that waitress produced a restaurant receipt with slurs written on it and claimed a customer wrote them. Actually, she did it herself. The woman in Wyoming who claimed to have been cyber-bullied actually had made comments online and reported

When I see things like this, I immediately reach for a large grain of salt. So many of these “outrages” turn out to be hoaxes or mistakes. The waitress with the slurs written on restaurant checks? The phony cyber threats in Wyoming? The nooses on teacher’s doorknob? Unless there is a disinterested third party witness

If your dog is elected, he will really bring on the Gravy Train.

I thought she became a Yankees fan when she ran for Senate from NY.

The bird is training for a race and the dog is his coach.

Do you know of anyone who has watched an entire “First Take” show from beginning to end? Especially when it was Smith and Bayless? I have never been able to sit and watch it for more than about 20 minutes, even with ex-”Around the Horn” host Kellerman.

I’ll bet Cubs fans were never so happy to be deprived of watching a game at Wrigley.

Why not? Can the 49ers get any worse?

Allegedly, when she was a student at the University of Texas, she was voted “Ugliest Man on Campus.”

Or a medical student who got drunk, mistook the inflatable for Adrian Peterson and tried to operate on his injured knee.

Judges on any court should not comment on political matters nor on issues that are before them in litigation. I think it is also wrong to comment on issues that may come up in the future. This is why I think Ginsburg was pushing it to make comments about Trump or on the issue of abortion, both of which could come up

Correction: Ginsburg went to Columbia Law School.

If you read about the history of the Supreme Court, you can see that judges today probably get along better personally than they have in the past. Wilson appointee James Mc Reynolds was known to be so bigoted that he would not talk to Jewish colleagues Brandeis and Cardozo, and was so disagreeable that he ended up

All the reasons you gave for rooting for them is the reason I root against them.
