It sounds no different from most biopics: vaguely truthful and desperately trying to show the subject overcoming adversity to make it.

Those of us who watch TVOne know that she also has attempted suicide and to this day struggles with suicidal ideation. I have to believe the DV plays a part in that.

dre beat michel'le, violently assaulted dee barnes, and according to tairrie b's wikipedia page, assaulted her as well. i have not seen one mea culpa from him and it doesn't seem to have affected him at all, what with apple licking his balls. i can't listen to his music anymore.

I don't have high hopes for this. Expect the whitewash of anything that doesn't fit the image that they want to portray, i.e. poor ghetto boys make good. Expect no mention of Michel'le or Dee Barnes or the mother of his oldest child, or women as anything other than the worst sort of objects.

I know I'm missing the point but.... Beyonce should definitely qualify as an A Girl.
