Yeah, but I figure Sony's cards aren't going to be that much beefier in transfer speeds, so you might not need that ultra-high end card in an adapter for normal performance.

Or, go with Amazon's OEM line, AmazonBasics.

Eh, I've tried hypermilling at 55 mph. Here in Californian suburbs, the average speed is usually more like 65 to 75, so you don't have to weave to hit those speeds.

Assume absolute certainty in outcomes. It's still a hypothetical "switch": if you were 100% sure that the donations would succeed, would you do it? Would it be ethical or moral to save more lives at the cost of an unwilling savior?

Best Western counter I can think up is Avatar: The Last Airbender, but it was admittedly anime-influenced. Still, 3 seasons of very cohesive plot with some strong character/world development and great action that still manages kid-appropriateness; even in anime, that's rare.

Another way to think of it is organ donation. Would you kill one unwilling healthy person to use their organs to save 5 sick people? Assume you're not able to choose to give your own organs, like say you're the only surgeon and thus can't donate the organs because no one else can operate.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Assuming you watch commercials with gameplay, you usually can do most of the things in the commercial. Of course, some of those commercials are just CG ridiculousness or pre-rendered cutscenes to oversell the graphics/realism, but the games nowadays still get pretty close.

Yeah, if they're so similar, one disease might wipe out the vast majority of them...but we'll probably still end up with survivors who can apparently easily bounce back, and then all of them would be immune to that disease.

Ah, how timely. A repost from Digital Cuttlefish about being "more" or "less" of a non-believer:

"Agnosticism is the view that the truth value of certain claims—especially claims about the existence or non-existence of any deity, but also other religious and metaphysical claims—is unknown or unknowable.[1][2][3] Agnosticism can be defined in various ways, and is sometimes used to indicate doubt or a skeptical

double post, oops.

Atheism is lack of belief in God. Agnostic means you're not 100% certain in your belief and don't believe people can be. To quote one blog "if atheism is a religion, 'not collecting stamps' is a hobby."

Ahhhhhhhhhh soooo goooood.

They want money : [ And it's a group of prequels, so they're getting around the ending too.

Anyone else reminded of Avatar: The Last Airbender, when Aang gets Katara and Sokka frozen frogs (or was it toads...) to suck on to break their fevers?

I get 10 pounds of gummies at around $17 on Amazon, which means it's four times as high as my normal prices...and those are damn good gummy bears, too (Albanese).

Have you seen that Mythbusters-esque show Rocket City Rednecks? It's a bunch of people who work for NASA or other aerospace companies in Alabama, so they're almost all literal rocket scientist rednecks.

Yeah, I miss the days of more crazy physical action by martial arts masters without trick shots. I was hoping Tony Jaa would bring it back, but he seems to have gone pretty quiet and his movies' plots aren't nearly as humorous or interesting as other Asian stars like Jackie or Jet. All the Ong Bak movies just had me

Yeah, screw PETA.

Yeah...the magazine in front of handle design is crap for pistols or short-barreled subs. Add that to the lack of a full set of sights, and the fact (er, if I recall correctly) this is one of the more accurate pistols in Gears, and it just gets ridiculous.
