Yeah...it was pretty bad. But it wasn't as insulting as the distracting and pointless Yellowface in "Cloud Atlas" (and yeah, the white-face they did didn't balance it out at all), or the brave white British dudes versus all of horrible freedom-hating African and Asian beastmen in "300".

The movie only receives my anger because it managed to take what was an awesome story, fun characters, and exciting fights, and turn it into boring tripe, flat characters with terrible dialogue and delivery, and stupidly slow fighting. The near-racist casting didn't help much either.

I'm a big fan of fancy "returning sword to sheath" moving poses. Like Mitsurugi's various katana sheathing victory poses which are extra-fancy variations on iaido moves, or Link's spinning flourish after two blood cleaning slashes to a one-handed over the shoulder re-sheathing in recent games.
