This is a strange comment and I’m surprised people are liking it. Barry, since the beginning, has been split between serious drama and absurd comedy. It’s not a dramedy, and it’s not a drama with funny moments. Its tone is unlike that even of Coen Brothers movies. But comedy is baked into the DNA of the show, and that

I will get a good laugh if, after they wrap up with Barry and Gene, Moss is immediately arrested on two counts of kidnapping and torture.

But the show often is funny, and we got a lot more of the comedy and absurdity that was more frequent in earlier seasons this episode. Hank and the heads; Team Raven negotiating on the best way to insulate Fuches’ new girlfriend and her daughter from the violence; “You only bought one rocket?”

Season 4 feels incredibly rushed. Maybe it should have been a 3 series show instead. Just all over the place.

Isiah! Fuck. Even in death, just an absolute fox.

I don’t necessarily need a smaller world (although TOTK is absolutely enormous. If the size is why it took 6 years, maybe smaller is better?)

I mean no, when MK11 released there were actual stories about the PTSD people went through staring at real life pictures of gore.

I wonder whether the developer is providing mental health counseling to the people working on the awful fatality animations.

Yeah I liked some of the stuff in the Dream seasons, but they didn’t really have enough to support an entire season each. Like if it had been a season of jumping genres every 2-3 episodes while Archer slowly started to realize something weird was going on that may have worked better.

Damn. The show was getting good again after the mostly forgettable “Dream Seasons”. I’d put decent odds we’ll get some kind of revival down the line, assembled from the AI-replicated voices of the cast (and hopefully the show would put a lampshade on that as well).

Excellent directing by Hader in the home invasion scene. The abrupt reveal of the black-clad slender man behind Sally was a good horror movie surprise. I don’t know if every thing that followed was exactly real. Sally did hear the last words of the guy she killed. Likely over a real ripping out of her wall and a real

I still don’t like the time skip, I think it was a copout and disrupted the flow of the last 4 seasons. However, I still like the show a lot, but there’s now a Season Four dichotomy: The first half is excellent, and so far, the second not so much. I will say this episode was a large improvement over the last.

Good Doctor is such a great example of what happens when you don’t make the effort to diversify a writers’ room. You end up with a show that’s a global laughingstock because its main character is an a Magical Autism stereotype being written by a group of people who’ve obviously never been in the same building as an

There isn’t a long term plan. The only plan Republicans have ever had is to acquire the most cash and power to hurt people they disagree with. That’s it. They just want to be seen as powerful and to enjoy the benefits power and money bring. They’re basically evil parrots, saying anything at all so long as it gets them

There isn’t a long term plan. It seems the entire state Republican machine is dedicated to fucking over anyone and everyone to propel Ol’ Pudding Fingers into his futile campaign to be a bigger dick than Donnie the Con, no matter the cost.

There is no long term plan except to stay elected.

aww i miss Emily St. James TV reviews on here. Her Glee and American Horror Story reviews were iconic. there was one glee review which was written from Mike Chang’s Dad’s point of view, lol

Sorry, but if this was anyone’s project other than the beloved Hader, the usual commentariat here would be excoriating this show for going completely off the rails because its braintrust had not thought out at all how they wanted it to end. It’s an obviously flailing wrap-up because, while it was it was a fun premise,

Fucking BLEAK.

At the start of this episode, I was thinking maybe it was too much darkness without enough humor. Then Barry showed his son videos of kids dying in little league, and I just fucking lost it.
