KOTOR seems like a cooler era than the High Republic, but outside of Yoda I assume this would be a more blank slate to work with creatively, and without the worry of upsetting KOTOR fans with whatever changes would inevitably be made going from game to screen.

Damn my memory of jokes only remembering the Doolittle / did little part...

“He’d wake me up with a gun to my head and pulled the trigger, it was empty but it was really loud. Then he’d say ‘not today, Rusty’.”

I’m reminded of the bit in King of the Hill where Dale says “Remember when her Dr. Doolittle ‘did little’ with the critics?”

Christmas games are taking my attention right now (not shockingly of course), Pokemon Sword is fun, Control is super weird and it feels like horror but it’s apparently just labeled as an action game, and Jedi Fallen Order is a lot harder than I expected but I suck at anything remotely Souls-y. I like Cal a lot though,

Yeeeeeeep Rise of Skywalker and reactions to pretty much any new Star Wars thing online are a huge motivation for this, to try to learn to not engage with “why thing you liked is the new worst thing ever” discussions.

Whatever they are they would need to be released in a set called The Forefathers.

Avoid toxic fandom spaces that just bum me out.

I was kinda hoping they’d call it Father 4.

Agreed, I wasn’t super interested in Excalibur before it released but since it started it’s been one of my favs.

Pink Diamond reminds me of Jonas Venture Sr. in Venture Bros. where so much of the growth for the main characters is just getting over the baggage from complicated heroes who left a lot of damage in their wake while saving the world or whatever.

To not worry so much about finishing lists of games and focus on having fun playing.

My top game list for the year might change thanks to some Christmas games (got Pokemon, Control, and Jedi Fallen Order) but I know my top 3 are AI:The Somnium Files, Fire Emblem Three Houses, and Shenmue II in whatever order.

More Taika directed Star War please! That was fantastic. The wait for S2 is gonna be long, but I’ll wait as long as they need to maintain the fun and freshness and heart of the first season.

Obi Wan on Xbox had some incredible bad voice acting in the best way. Also it had a Star Wars version of Trainspotting at the end.

If HBO needs more Watchmen ASAP, but Lindelof needs more time to come up with a story I can definitely see a straight adaptation of the original comic being what HBO goes for next as a “safe” option for season 2.

Season 2 pitch: Adrian ends up in the same prison cell as Dan for some reason and it’s a remix of The Odd Couple for 9 episodes.

Season 2: Symphony of the Lube Man

Great finale I felt, I’m not sure what I was expecting but it was different than I thought it would be. Kinda actually surprised they didn’t explain Lube Man. Did they say how Will held the boiling egg earlier too?

Whoa how did I miss this?!
