One of my earliest memories is about Jaws. It was one of my first favorite movies, I must have been three or so, and I got in trouble cuz I said “smile you son of a bitch” while playing.

Giant Days has only been over for about a month or two but I still greatly miss it already.

Having Amy Sedaris in a Star War was the best part of this ep for me.

Oh man when I heard Corey’s voice in one of the last trailers before launch I got REAL emotional, so far I’ve adored hearing his voice be the exact same as the originals. I didn’t realize until playing 3 how much his voice was a major part of the series for me.

I hit a point in Death Stranding where I needed a break (you want me to walk how far back over how much of this mountain to get to a story beat?), which conveniently timed with my 5 dollar Steam controller arriving. It’s a weird thing that I’ve always wanted to try, but 50 bucks or whatever they were asking seemed

Lovely writeup (as always!) I’m loving Shenmue 3 so far because it feels like such a place, it’s a veeery slow paced detective game, but I like that. Sometimes it’s nice to just visit a neighborhood, get out of bed, and walk past 20 or so NPCs that I know more about than casts of ginormous open world games.

Glad to see good ol’ Michael Emerson still bringing it.

“Hey baby. We’re in fuckin’ trouble.”

It really does seem like a really weird choice to start Phase 4 with, especially after the long break after Far From Home.

“Wow honey we really did just watch 6 hours of videos you recorded of yourself on your bike instead of like a TV show or something. I’m not mad or anything just...oh, there’s still three hours of this? ...okay....”

I had to watch the ending and the preview for next week a few times, I haven’t had the excitement for the end of an episode like that in so long. Since like Fringe was on, or even Lost maybe. This show man...

Was that Pillboi as a villager?!

This week I’ve been mainly playing through Death Stranding, Shenmue III, and...Ring Fit Adventure. The latter is kicking my ass but probably in a good way. RPG mechanics + workouts is a surprisingly good combo.

Iain has practically the exact voice I picture for comic Dan, this is so weird.

That art style is lovely.

The tone they take sometimes with Star Wars games reminds me of that LOTR game where they turned Shelob from a spider monster into a sexy lady.

I’m sad Giant Days ended, it had a great finale of course but I could have read the slice of life stuff about those characters like eternally.

OK, but will it have John Freeman in it?

Star Wars 2022 is really exciting to me now that it’s so unknown, and I feel way more hopeful having no creative team attached than D&D lol. The idea of a blank slate Star Wars is pretty exciting, something not tied to any of the stories so far could be creatively freeing while also being super daunting. While I dig

This one gets points from me for jokes about the horrors of trying to get around during one of those winter-ish nights where ice covers every surface outside.
