Oh, and I got into the Anthem alpha thing so I’ll be trying that this weekend too.

I’ve been playing Tony Hawk’s Underground as my workout bike game and I just finished this week. I honestly didn’t play the THPS games that much growing up so I’m terrible at them, but I had a lot of fund with Underground and dug the story mode a lot.

Got the lil Playstation Classic and while it’s nothing mindblowing, I’m having a lot of fun playing Final Fantasy VII on it. It feels more “authentic” than the PSN versions I’ve gotten. Hopefully this time I finally finish the game (I’ve made it to the veeery end before getting distracted by other games).

Agreed, after TCW and Rebels Filoni’s crew has earned my trust with MC growth.

There’s still some 2018 games I need to play/finish but off the top of my head right now my list would be:

SPOILERS

I got really excited the first time they said Hank’s full name on the Venture Bros. as I have the same first and middle name as him.

Both! Agreed that they varied wildly. The game is such an odd mix of highs and lows in a lot of ways.

Oh my god I had the same experience on that Red Dead Online mission, I died so stupidly I was like “this is too much they’re gonna know I’m bad at this” and quit.

I feel like I should too. I keep thinking to myself “man I’d love a new Mass Effect to play” and then remembering I barely started Andromeda.

Beat RDR2. I was pleasantly surprised at the writing in RDR2, while it was such a bleak story it felt like Rockstar was trying to say something other than just being cynical which was nice to see (the scene with the nun made me bawl). I tried RD Online and it was...fine. I feel like the fun is gonna wear off quick with

RDR2. I’m still in catharsis mode after it all.

“You’ll find me in my room...crying...

Giant Days is about the only comic I make sure to get each issue day 1, it’s awesome.

I don’t have anything to add except that this show is so freaking good.

IMO I don’t think they’re that milked but I really like stories following generations of a family line. I’d like it if the Skywalkers were handled like the Joestars in JJBA, it’s fun to trace this long generational line and you get a Joestar each part, but sometimes other characters take the main focus.

I’ll forever appreciate it for doing that Bionicle sequence hahaha.

Personally I feel like if they gotta do more stories in the HP world they should focus on the strengths of the series (like growing up in a magic school) instead of dreary overstuffed war stories while exploring each country’s magic government system.

Just watched this so I’m sure this has been said already but I LOOOVED them using the Lost season premiere style opening of a big reveal character hidden behind them waking up and going through their routine listening to a song. It made me nostalgic and surprisingly pumped to see Doug at the same time.

I hope the Skywalker line doesn’t end. That would bum me out, honestly.
