Agreed on the Part 5 anime being better than the manga. Maybe it was the translation I read but Part 5 just felt kinda flat from what I read while the anime versions of the same scenes so far feel really exciting and engaging.

St. Denis is such a beautifully rendered city even if it’s smoke filled and ugly. It’s such a jarring shift from the more open and wild cities you visit beforehand.

Mostly been playing RDR2, even if it gets a bit clunky control wise (sometimes in fights Arthur will just not pull his gun out), the presentation, story, and acting all make up for it. I’m on chapter 5 I think? Not sure how close that is to the end. Things feel like they’re reaching a breaking point in story.

I definitely agree that not having a school year time stamp hurts her writing in this world. I think if they wanted to do more stories in this world they should do more adventures of kids growing up at Hogwarts or another magical school, the school was always the heart of it for me.
