Yeah I agree, I get that they take forever but it’s always so worth it whenever VB comes back.

JG Thirlwell composes both shows now too!
I feel the same way, Season 3 just felt meaner and not in a fun way. The nihilism felt way ramped up, and it didn’t help that a big percentage of the jokes was just gory stuff.
I love that episode too, it’s one of the most horror-feeling episodes Lost had, I just had this sense of dread the whole time.
The phone call scene makes me BAWL it’s beautiful.
Luke still has to give Rey her third lesson, and him haunting Kylo would be great. “Thy evil spirit, Ben.”
While the Constant is probably the best emotional episode Lost did, The Incident is so amazing and mind blowing, I was in shock when it ended.
“Two air vents on the roof, that’s what the guy was talkin’ a-SHIIIT.”
I’m cautiously excited as well. I’m sure Cage will have his usual David Cage-y faults, but if I can get some exciting sequences like Heavy Rain had I’ll be good.
I’m not sure what I’ll be playing this weekend, I might bust out KOTOR or KOTOR 2 for Star Wars day. I got A Way Out so I’m hoping one of my friends will be free to try it out this weekend.
I’d be interested in hearing about it too, I haven’t finished XC2 or Psycho Pass but writers losing themselves in deconstruction is a topic that interests me, that I’m noticing a lot of in media over the last few years.
I somehow missed hearing about The Good Life’s KS until like two days ago but I backed immediately when “People turn into cats at night.” popped up so matter of factly in the trailer. Plus I looove life sims and combine that with Swery’s insanity, you got a stew brewin.
I don’t remember much about Forever (I watched 89, Phantasm, and B&R the most as a kid), but I love how scathing this review is and it makes me want to watch it again.
If Conan switched to an entirely travel based show I would watch every night.
I wanna watch for Sawyer.
I saw some wild speculation that this one will end in a Pokemon Gold style “now you can explore everything from the first game” and that got me more excited than the trailers released so far even if it sounds highly unlikely (I remember the same thing going around for MGSV ending with a MG remake and then MGSV barely…
Pearl in the crowd was definitely the episode highlight.
“BRING ME THANOS!” is definitely one of my favorite lines from the movie.
I think it comes from the mindset that only unexpected things in a story can be good and emotional, and the only way to show stakes is permanent shocker character deaths.
I thought he was really Hux-y too!
